As Sous Vide cooking becomes increasingly popular a new method of taking temperatures had to be devised. Attach a small piece of tape to the vac-pac bag, push the probe through the foam tape to take a core temperature and as you remove the probe the tape reseals the hole. This means you can take a core temperature before, during and after the sous vide cooking process without leaving a hole in the bag or letting in water. Accuracy 0.4 degrees C, 2 year thermometer warranty, made in Britain, free traceable certificate of calibration. Kit includes Therma 1 thermometer, 1 x 60mm sous vide needle probe, 1 x 120mm sous vide needle probe, water resistant countdown timer, Mini tub of 70 Probe Wipes and 1 metre sous vide foam tape in an ABS carry case.
